Our FOCUS Orange County center provided almost 300 hamburgers and over 100 hot dogs for homeless families living in motels in Orange County on August 28, 2010. This event coincided with the giving out of some of the 350 backpacks collected by Orthodox churches through FOCUS Orange County. A group of student volunteers from California state senator Lou Carrea's office gave out the backpacks while FOCUS OC handled the food.

North Gate Gonzalez Markets donated 8 pallets of food and FOCUS Orange County volunteers helped brake those down and move them to shelters and storage.
